Intercon Offshore Guided Wave Testing
Guided Wave Testing (GWT) is a long-range ultrasonic testing method that uses mechanical stress waves guided along the boundaries of elongated structures such as pipelines.
This technique enables the detection of corrosion, wall thinning, and other defects over long distances without requiring full access or insulation removal. It is widely used in the inspection of offshore and onshore pipelines, risers, and other metallic structures where direct inspection is difficult or impossible.
Our GWT services are performed by certified technicians using advanced equipment to ensure accurate screening and targeted follow-up inspections.
